Mario Pelchat once again experienced great emotions as a coach in Voice.
The 10my The season begins this Sunday on TVA, an edition that aims to be different since it was recorded in its entirety last fall. No more live streams, meaning the studio audience hasn’t watched the blind auditions before voting. In this way, you make your preferences known based on what you hear at this specific stage.

“In some ways, the vote can be fairer. There are no prejudices or attachments, people there vote for what they hear that night,” said Mario Pelchat in an interview with the QMI agency.
He does Voice to “pay it forward” and share all his experience, after 40 years of work as a performer and producer. “Another great season begins, another great opportunity to discover talented artists. What I like to see is its evolution. It’s happening quickly, especially since this year it was done from October to December during filming. They had to progress in a short time.
From a very young age, Mario Pelchat participated in singing competitions to gain experience and discover himself as an artist. But he didn’t have the pressure of being on the biggest variety set in Quebec, with the cameras and everything.
“I don’t know how they do it. She probably would have done it. Voice Me too, because when we are young we are a little careless. At the same time we want to prove our worth and show what we have in our stomach. We do not calculate the danger, we do not see ourselves in danger,” said the person who will celebrate the 1is February is 60my birthday.

Mario Pelchat, new coach last year, saw his runner-up Sophie Grenier win top honors. Will he be the victorious coach again? Of course, we won’t reveal anything to you.
Stating that he “went there with the same passion as last year” during the blind auditions and “loved the diversity,” Mario Pelchat relied on the emotions he felt when deciding whether or not to turn his red chair.
“I chose each of the performers according to my favorites, according to what seduced me with their voice, their emotion, their diction. It’s a bit of all this that I try to discover in an artist, if he is ready for the adventure, if it is worth stopping at what I hear and making it progress. “I am very proud of the Pelchat team.”

Great chemistry between the coaches.
According to Mario Pelchat, the chemistry with the other coaches (Roxane Bruneau, Corneille and France D’Amour) this year was especially strong.
“It went very well, there was a great bond between us. I know Corneille and France well. We hadn’t known Roxane for a long time, but she turned out to be a good player, fun, intelligent and very witty. “She took her place,” said the interpreter of Crying in the rain, and added that “the production even told us that we were one of the most united technical bodies.”

Mario Pelchat, who returns to the stage in February for the show Aznavour – From now on, I really appreciate your experience. Voice that I would say yes, tomorrow morning, for the third consecutive season as a coach.
“We make Voice because, when you have years of experience, when you have succeeded, the least you can do is give back. It’s about giving others the opportunity to take your place too. My role as producer was for that too. I also find it artistically nourishing. “We see ourselves in those who make this journey.”
Produced by Productions Déferlantes, in collaboration with Quebecor Content, the 10my season Voice begins Sunday, January 21 at 7 pm, on TVA.
