Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will be in a movie together.

The singer confirmed that she and her husband will appear in a film and musical project. While she didn’t give much else away, Jennifer Lopez revealed on Instagram that she and Ben Affleck, 51, worked together on parts of her new “visual album.”
“It is obvious that he is my husband and I love everything we can do together, it is a joy for me,” said the singer at the album’s launch, without specifying what exactly they did together for the production.
“It is one of the secrets of the house, which we want to preserve until people see it,” he explained. We want it to be a discovery. »
The next album, titled This is me now, will be accompanied by a feature-length video that will be released on Amazon Prime on February 16. The album, whose title is a nod to the 2002 album, This is me…SoIt would be a declaration of love from Jennifer Lopez to Ben Affleck.
The accompanying film is titled This is me… now: a love story. It is directed by Dave Meyers and the platform presents it as “an immersive cinematic experience.” It is “a narrative, intimate, thoughtful, sexy, fun, fantastical and highly visual musical reinvention of Jennifer Lopez’s publicly scrutinized love life,” according to a press release issued in November. “Viewers will be captivated and will leave this film with the hope that true love is more than just a dream”… Quite a program, then.
The project features many guest stars: Fat Joe, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty and, of course, the man in Jennifer Lopez’s life, Ben Affleck.
There is no doubt that the “Bennifers”, as they are sometimes called, hope that this collaboration works better than their first collaboration, Martin Brest’s Amours Troubles, on the set of which the pair met. Released in 2003, the crime comedy is considered one of the “worst movies of all time” and maintains a 6% approval rating on review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes. Roger Friedman of Fox News declared it “the worst movie ever made.”
After this bitter failure, the “Bennifers” found themselves in Father and daughterby Kevin Smith. In 2023, it was announced that Ben Affleck will co-produce Unstoppable through his company Artists Equity, in which Jennifer Lopez will star.
