A crazy first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s new movie

There’s nothing stopping Guy Ritchie. After action movies. Operation Fortuna: ruse of war and The pactboth released last year, and the series The Knights which arrives on Netflix next March, the English director has another film in the pipeline: The Ministry of War among Gentlemen.

Inspired by real events

Expected in theaters in the United States on April 19, 2024 (the release date in France is still unknown), this new feature film has just been revealed in an impressive first trailer.

The Ministry of War among Gentlemen is based on the book of the same name by Damien Lewis, which analyzes recently declassified files from the British War Office.

Inspired by true events, the film is described as an action comedy that tells the story of the first special forces organization created during World War II by Winston Churchill and a small group of military personnel, including author Ian Fleming (the father of James Bond).

According to the synopsis of the feature film, “This top-secret combat unit, made up of a ragtag group of thugs and misfits, embarks on a dangerous mission against the Nazis using unconventional and undistinguished combat techniques. But ultimately his bold approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern covert operations.
